Sinterklaas!

We started the day an abundant breakfast in V&D's restaurant on the first floor.

After the breakfast we went to the Prinsentuin park where the Santa Claus arrives. Traditionally dutch Santa Claus arrives by steamboat from Spain. He has got assistants, who are called zwarte piet.
Sinterklaas gets on his horse after the steamboat moors and he hands out the presents.

This is a big party in the city lot of child and adult walking on the street or canal bank. Everybody wave and cheer no matter how old are they. It was true about us too sometimes we were louder than children.

Some of us went to the city to have entertaintment or eat pancakes in the evening.
