This day was also amazing. Today we visited Roc Friese Poort in Drachten. We got coffee and tea here, just like in everywhere in Holland :)
After the nice meeting we went to a class where we could talk to the students, about their habits and the differences between the two countries. Then we saw a clip about a special needs son and his father who participate in the triatlon races. It was so special.
After lunch Marjolein who works at Talant, a centre for mentally and shisically handicapped clients spoke about her job. It was touching how she could speak about her proffesion. After that those who wanted to visit the institute where they work, could went with them by car. This programme was not in the plans, but they were really flexible .
First, we walked through the institution where we saw the aninals that are used for therapy. Then we saw the rooms of the clients, every room was different, just like the people, we aren't same.
My favourite was the water bed that we could try. There was a simulation bed too. You could experience what it is like to ride a motorbike lying on the bed, it was a lot of fun. Finally, Majorlein invited us for a coffe and tea. We were enriched with a lot of experiences.:)
